I often give and receive Play-doh as a gift. I gave this set away, but we received the duffle bag set, which is very similar, as a gift ourselves. It's a great gift because Play-doh gets used up (mixed into brownish-gray lovliness, left out to dry) and so kids can always use more, and the joy of opening that new container of Play-doh seems to be universal. The Play-doh tools in this set are an added bonus. Just make sure you aren't using it in a carpeted room, because some inevitable drops on the floor and it can be difficult to clean up!

Grandson loves the back back. The cutters are all letters so you can use them for educational but it would have been nice if they were "things". The back pack is used to carry toys around.
