My son, 4 1/2, loves this game and the Star Wars math game. We've tried just about every reading Leapster game, and this one is the favorite.

This game has been perfect for reinforcing sounds and the spelling of words for our 1st grade son. It definitely has more of a focus on education than gaming, but enough gaming to keep him very interested. The new online overview for parents is a great way to see the areas that he is working on. Overall, a great educational game!

My almost 5 year old son is a big star wars fan and is on the edge of reading. I think we just pushed him over the edge with this! The Leapster 2 is great and a good step up from the Leap Pad he had before. This game allows him a little (not too violent" shooting while really getting him to focus on letters, sounds, words etc. Excellent

This leapster cartridge combines the fun of a game with learning activities. There are three different levels. Level one is great for my 4 year old, and level 3 is good for my 7 year old.
I am very happy with this cartridge.
