Product Description Since 1934, players of all ages have been chasing one another around the classic game board, trying to get their own four pawns from Start to Home. But it's not that easy, because you never know what the next card will hold: Will you move forwards or backwards' Will you hit a slide and shoot ahead, or will an opponent bump you back to start' For 2 to 4 players. Contents include: Sorry! game board, deck of cards, and 16 pawns.
Editorial Review This classic game of luck, strategy, and determination is easy to grasp for children as young as 6 years old, yet it's fun for adults and older siblings too. By drawing cards, players move their game pieces around the board, hoping to eventually accumulate all their pieces at the final destination--home sweet home. Sorry is known as the game of "sweet revenge," since players can send each other's pawns back to the starting line, thus forcing one another to lose ground and begin all over again. This kind of frustration may be hard for children under age 8 to handle. In fact, young ones typically crumble into tears of outrage when their pawns are cavalierly sent back. The only recourse is to teach children how to plot their own revenge, which makes them feel as powerful as superheroes.

family fun May 21, 2010 G. Cox (Texas) I think that sorry! is a great game. It's very educational and fun for the whole family. Once your child plays this game, they'll never want to stop...unless they're bumped back to start! I definitely recommend this game. I play it myself with my family as well.
The kids LOVE it May 4, 2010 Madee Bee (New York) I bought this for my nieces for Christmas. I wasn't sure how it would go over because they have video games as well. They ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. As a matter of fact, I can't go visit without being told I have to play with them.
The game is a lot of fun, and makes you think. I believe it's helping with their deductive ability. They actually think about who to send home or what moves to make instead of just "picking" on someone, or moving any random piece.
I didn't think a board game would beat a video game but this one proved me wrong.
Sorry! Game May 1, 2010 C. J. Freeman I ordered this game for my 11 yr. old nephew. I'm not sure if he's played it yet, but I do know that he was very happy to get the game. I played this game with my brothers and sisters whenever I was young- and I am now 46 yrs. old! It's so great to still see classics being sold like this game.
Sorry Game March 21, 2010 D. Combs (Franklinton, NC) I have loved Sorry since I was a child. Our household has always had a Sorry game in it. It was one of my children's favorite games when they were growing up. Now that they are grown we still sit around and play. This is one game that I recommend for every family. I just wished the cards wouldn't wear out. That's when I replace it, when the cards wear out, or once about every 10 years.
an old favorite January 5, 2010 Michel Burris We played over the holidays. It really opened dialogue with the teenagers who preferred playing to texting. The game can be learned easily and is a great way to pass the time when you're snowed in. The rules are simple, the laughs plentiful. Our youngest who is six even got in on the action.
